Privacy Policy


This Privacy Policy concerning the websites of Aplitt sp. z o.o. provides information what data we collect and for what purpose, and what we use it for. Knowledge on this subject is important, so please read it carefully.

Data Administrator

The Data Administrator is Aplitt sp. z o.o. based in Gdańsk, ul. Arkońska 6/A1, 80-387 Gdańsk, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under the number 0000692419, Vat No. 584-27-63-014.

Data Protection Officer

In matters related to the processing of information, in particular personal data and the use of rights related to its processing you can contact the Data Protection Officer in Aplitt sp. z o.o. by:

What information we collect

  • 1) From the users of our commercial services ("Clients"), we obtain, using open forms, data related to the documentation and provision of the service, i.e. data identifying the party to the agreement and the contact details.
  • 2) From persons interested in information about our company and services offered ("Correspondents") we acquire basic identification and telecommunication data, allowing contact, collected on dedicated forms including the content of inquiries.
  • 3) In the case of visitors to our websites ("Guests"), including Clients and Correspondents, the information is collected automatically in the form of: a) activity logs and b) cookies. More information on these two tools is provided in dedicated chapters below.

What are the goals and legal grounds for processing of the information that we collect and how long do we intend to process it?

  • In the case of Clients, the data is processed in order to establish cooperation and to carry it out upon executing an agreement, in the period of the agreement and one year after its termination at a maximum. The data is processed on the basis of the consent granted, however, it is required to draw up and execute the agreement.
  • After this date, the data is processed, at a maximum, up to the time of limitation of claims that may be related to the Client or if it is necessary to process personal data for reasonable pursuit of claims or defence against claims of the other party, which is in the legally justified interest of Aplitt sp. z o.o. as the administrator.
  • In the case of Correspondents, the contact details and contents of correspondence are processed in for the purpose of responding, for a period of 1 year from the date of such response at a maximum.
  • The contact details of Clients and Correspondents are processed to promote the company’s own or third party services, based on consents granted until such consents are withdrawn.
  • The data of Guests in the form of logs is processed for 2 years at a maximum from the date of visiting the website, on the basis of the legally justified interest of Aplitt sp. z o. o. as the administrator. More information about log files is provided in a dedicated chapter below.
  • The data contained in cookies is processed for the period of using the website or the period specified therein which is not longer than 2 years. Cookies are processed simultaneously on the terms specified and accepted by the user by the configuration of the browser used to browse our website. More information about cookies is provided in a dedicated chapter below.

Voluntary provision of data

Personal data is provided on a voluntary basis and this information is included on the forms intended for data collection. The scope is limited to the data required to provide the service or for the purpose of communication. The lack of consent prevents the provision of the service or communication between the parties.

Information collected in logs and cookie files is obtained automatically, based on the browser configuration.

Which recipients are provided with the collected data?

Aplitt sp. z o.o. makes the above described data available only to entities cooperating in the provision of services with to the data processing is related and only to the extent required to perform these services.

Aplitt sp. z o.o provides the above described data to entities authorized to obtain it on the basis of the applicable laws to the extent stipulated in these laws.

Rights associated with the processing of personal data

All persons whose personal data is processed by Aplitt sp. z o.o. have the following rights:

  • the right to access the personal data;
  • the right to correct it, delete it or restrict the processing thereof;
  • the right to transfer the data;
  • the right to file a complaint to the supervision authority.

In addition, if the data is processed on the basis of consent - the right to withdraw it in the scope in which it has been granted.

Log files (Logs)

Like most standard websites, Aplitt sp. z o.o. uses log files (logs). Logs can contain the following information about users (Guests): IP address, browser type, Internet provider, sites from which the website has been accessed and exited, hardware platform type, date and time stamp, number of clicks and login, after each logging in to the website.

Logs are processed in order to: analyze trends, manage the website, collectively track the traffic of users. No information collected in log files is automatically combined with other data of users.

Cookies

Cookies are IT data, in particular text files that are stored on the user's end device. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer (Guests), associated with information about the user. Aplitt sp. z o.o. may use both cookies installed temporarily for the session period and cookies installed persistently. In the case of session cookies, when the browser is closed or the user is logged out, the cookie file stops working and is deleted. Persistent cookies are small text files stored on the hard drive of the user’s computer for a longer period of time. Information and instructions on removing persistent cookies can be found in the help tab of the web browser used. Temporary cookies can be used to track user preferences when the user is using the website. They also help shorten the website loading time and reduce the load on the server. Persistent cookies may be used by Aplitt sp. z o.o. to store information, e.g. about the user’s intention or lack of intention to store a password or similar information in memory. Cookie files used on the website of Aplitt sp. z o.o. do not serve to identify the user's identity.

Enabling/removing/blocking cookies

The aplitt.pl websites use cookie files in accordance with the browser settings made individually by the user, installed on the device used. In many browsers, cookies are enabled by default. A user of information websites may at any time change the settings in his/her browser or disable cookies, however, this may result in incorrect functioning of the website. Using information websites with enabled cookies in the browser means that these files will be stored in the user's device memory. Users who after reading the information available on information websites do not want cookies to be stored in the device's web browser, should remove them from their browser after completing the visit to the online information service.

Changes to the Privacy Policy of the information websites of Aplitt sp. z o.o. may be influenced by the development of the Internet technology, changes to the generally applicable laws, including in the field of personal data protection, and the development of the websites. We will each time inform about these changes by referring to the updated version of the Policy.
